Oh you composers
“The public—that is to say the “real” public, in the sense of which does not belong to any coterie and which judges by sentiment and not according to narrow ideas and ridiculous theories which it has formed upon the subject of art — this public which, in spite of itself, makes mistakes, as is proved by the fact of its frequently having to alter its decisions was, at the very onset, struck by some of the eminent qualities of Beethoven. It does not ask whether such and such a modulation bears a due relation to some other one; whether certain harmonies are admitted by the magisters; or whether it is permitted to employ certain rhythms, previously unknown. It simply perceives that these rhythms, these harmonies and modulations, set off by a noble and passionate melody, make a strong impression upon it, and in an entirely new way.”
Scores
I write mostly for piano and for chamber ensembles. I am deeply inspired by Beethoven, Bach, Mozart, and so much more from the long history of musical development. Here you can find the sheet music and recording to most of my works.
HISTORICAL COLLECTION
My slowly growing collection of antique classical music ephemera, music programs, sheet music, photos, art and more. We can learn so much from this important history.

"I had several interesting conversations with the writer Count L. N. Tolstoy, which have revealed and clarified a lot of things for me. He convinced me that an artist who does not work following his inner impulse, but calculating on effect, who does violence to his talent in order to please the public and forces himself to pander to the latter, is not really an artist. His works will be tenuous, their success ephemeral. I have come to believe in this truth entirely."

I do have health problems which robs me of so much crucial composing time and I write multiple pieces at once, but I also think it is very important to spend a lot of time on even the smallest details in a work. It is in those most subtle of details communicated the most tender delicate moments. Shouldnt a work from start to finish have this thread, each strand woven and layed by conscious human hand?

I apologize for not being able to upload videos as often as I would like. I wanted to upload a couple of rough home recordings in the meantime before some larger works get recorded and released here. This will be the first of two such rough home studio recordings, the second will be a little bit different than my usual works. Thank you for waiting patiently

This is a small piece for children or beginning violin players which only uses the hand in first position on two strings. I wrote it and others because I think there is a strong lack of musical and expressive pieces for musicians who are just starting out. Please feel free to email me if you would like to play, use or teach this piece.
